Grace Thorne, Clinical Psychologist and yoga teacher (RYT-200), based in the East Midlands, UK.
Here's a bit more about how I got here, and what I believe in.

Stress, burnout, anxiety and trauma are all experienced through both mind and body, so it's never made sense to me to treat them separately. Psychology offers top-down tools to build self-understanding and make sense of experience. Yoga offers bottom-up tools, asana and pranayama, to support the nervous system and calm the body's stress response. I bring both to everything I offer here.
I'm a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. My work has taken me through forensic services, child and adolescent mental health, and emergency medicine, to name a few. I trained on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leicester, and since qualifying I worked across some of the most demanding corners of the NHS, from a specialist eating disorder unit supporting young people, to major trauma wards, to most recently the Emergency Department.
In 2026, I made the decision to leave the NHS and focus full-time on Grace Thorne Wellbeing. It's a step I didn't take lightly, but one that lets me bring everything I've learned to a space built entirely around how I think care should feel.
Alongside that, I recently completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-200), qualifying to teach both hatha and vinyasa styles, along with breath-work and meditation. Grace Thorne Wellbeing is where those two worlds meet, evidence-based psychological care and a grounded, embodied yoga practice, under one roof.
Whether that's a yoga class, a therapy session, or a wellbeing day for your team, I'd love to hear from you.
